Wednesday 18th March marked National Child Sexual Exploitation Awareness Day.
CSE is a widespread issue within the country and affects people from all backgrounds and of all ages.
“The National Child Sexual Exploitation Awareness Day aims to highlight the issues surrounding CSE; encouraging everyone to think, spot and speak out against abuse and adopt a zero tolerance to adults developing inappropriate relationships with children.” – Coventry City Council
Positive Youth Foundation partnered up with Coventry City Councils Intergrated Youth Support Service, Coventry/West Midlands Police and COV on a Helping Hands and See Me, Hear Me Campaign. Spreading awareness of CSE alongside making people think about how they can help people who need support showing this by writing a helpful hashtag on their hand and sharing it on social media.
