The brand ‘Positive Futures’ is well known within the Youth-Work sector. It is the service we delivered for over ten years where much national learning took place. We use this knowledge to inform our practice to this day. PYF was consistently rated a Gold Standard project and subsequently went on to advise the Home Office and other national partners on work with young people.

Positive Futures provides a safe and accessible timetable of after-school, evening and weekend provision for young people across Coventry. Young people aged 8+ can benefit from the highest quality provision whilst being surrounded by positive role models. These experienced practitioners keep young people’s needs central to all decision-making processes.

Chosen environments for Positive Futures delivery, is informed through identified local need and partnership intelligence. Our ‘highly targeted work’ identifies young people that require additional holistic support. For these groups, sessional activities are used as a tool for initial engagement, resulting in impacting positively on young people’s lives and the wider communities in which they live.

These community based interventions keep young people active, tackle anti-social behaviour, build resilience and raise aspirations.

We pride ourselves on developing a welcoming and broadly inclusive environment where young people know that support can be found in a non-judgmental way.
